HDR

These next images are those created using the programme photomatix. I feel they weren't all that effective with the subjects that I have choses, countryside and wilderness, as I dont feel the textures and overall look fits the images, also it isn't all that obvious on some of them. Although I did one of Stoneyhurst College that I thought was more effective, and also the images with the bridges in I found to be more effective as they contrasted quite well with the trees and water in the shot.

Corporate Portrait

We were set a task with a choice of 3 options, an editorial portrait, a corporate portrait or an environmental portrait, and were in groups of four. Our group chose to do a corporate portrait of the photography technician at Blackburn College. We all took are own images of which I don't have copies to display, which is a shame, but this is the result I got. I am quite proud of this shot as it is the first corporate portrait I have done and wanted to achieve something a little more interesting than a suit and tie style shot. Although I do feel Steve, the technician, helped to make this possible as he is already and interesting character. The image is taken outside using natural light and one reflector, a difficult lighting technique to work with.
